How To Maximize
Projects It is true, we really did double our net income by mastering projects. Projects are your best friend as long as you follow a system. Here are the steps that made the difference for us: 1. Don't be afraid of having too many projects! Remember, you can have UNLIMITED PROJECTS so don't be afraid to create projects. Try to make sure you don't have duplicate projects, if two projects are very similar then combine them. Also be sure to complete projects that shouldn't be on your list because you don't want excess clutter looking at you every day. 2. Make your PROJECT NAME enticing, something that will stand out when you are looking at your project lists. CLEAN THE GARAGE is much more depressing compared to SPORTS GARAGE CONVERSION. You can edit the project name at any time. Just change the name inside the project and hit SAVE at the bottom of the page. We will sometimes put deadlines on the PROJECT NAME line so the date is staring at us when we look at our home page. 3. Fill in your GOAL STATEMENT and make it specific and exciting! This isn't just a corny step that we throw in there to make you feel good. This statement actually motivates you to get into action when you open your project. If you don't have a purpose for doing the project IT WON'T GET DONE! 4. Use the ADD FROM MAIN CONTACTS feature. This is a great way to have all the information on one page for your project. Add as many contacts from your main list as possible. This also helps when you share the project or email the project to someone. 5. DOCUMENT! You can never have too many notes in there, the more the better! Use the note sections to record progress, conversations, events, and anything else you can think of. 6. USE THE WORD PROCESSOR to brainstorm ideas, copy information from web sites, or to copy emails. You can have unlimited documents so make as many as you'd like! 7. CREATE VALUABLE PROCEDURES:
When you are working on a project, you are not only completing a task but you
are creating a document that will save the time of others in the future. Think
of it like you are writing a procedure or a system for your company that will be
used for years to come. Maybe you can use this experience to write a book or a
how-to manual. Projects have unlimited possibilities!
